Christmas!
A few days before Christmas we had a family Christmas party at my brother's house.  We had a great time visiting together, eating good food and doing crafts.  My niece and I played some duets on the piano (she was awesome and I was so awful I laughed myself to tears) and my other niece modeled her Sponge Bob sports bra on the outside of her clothes for us ;).
One of our Christmas activities was to build some snowmen. This is Mr and Mrs Olaf.

After the first night, the weather warmed up and Mr. Olaf's head fell off and Mrs. Olaf's eyes melted and they looked really creepy, like snowman zombies staring into our windows.   We ended up sending Jared out to smash them to make them go away.
On Christmas Eve Kaitlin's Choir sang at Christ United Methodist's Christmas service. It was a beautiful service and the choir was wonderful!  It was a great way for us to celebrate Christmas Eve and be reminded that all Christians are our brothers and sisters in faith.
We've never had the tradition of opening any gifts on Christmas Eve, but this year one of the top things on Jared's list was to be able to open PJ's on Christmas Eve. So this year, thanks to his sisters, he got his wish.

Christmas morning carnage.  We didn't have any big wishes this Christmas but everyone seemed happy.  Jared got some air soft guns, and I got a bb gun too. Chuck got a tablet, and the girls got clothes and socks. Kaitlin said between her two households and grandparents she got 18 pairs of socks!
The kids got Just Dance for the Wii and had a fun time playing together.

The top thing on my Christmas list was installing the under/over cabinet lighting in the kitchen.  We designed the cabinets a year and a half ago to have lighting, but never got around to installing it.  Chuck had the week off and spent 2 days doing the wiring and getting it all done.  Doesn't it look great!!
